Pour the butter into a pan and fry the garlic for 1 minute. Add the chicken and season with salt. Cook until golden and set aside.
Pour some olive oil into the pan to stir-fry the onion. When golden, add the chicken broth, ground walnuts, basil, thyme, salt and pepper. Stir well and cook for a few minutes until the broth has reduced. Add some olive oil for a smoother, thicker texture.
Cook the pasta as instructed on the package.
Add the chicken and parmesan to the sauce; mix well. Then toss the pasta with the sauce and serve.
