Tomato Tagliatelle with Shrimps
5 serves | 430 Cal (Per serving).
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of Roma Pasta Tomato Tagliatelle
- 500g of shrimps
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 and 1/2 cups of diced onion
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 500g of mashed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of Vodka
- 6 tablespoons of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of lime zest
- 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
- In a big pot, melt the butter to cook the onion for 3 minutes, then add the garlic, and cook for another 2 minutes until browned.
- Add the mashed tomatoes and stir. Then add the vodka, heavy cream, and lime zest. Cook at low heat for 5 minutes and then add the salt and pepper.
- Add the shrimps (peeled and cleaned) to the sauce and cook for 5 minutes until the shrimps are cooked.
- Add the pasta to the shrimp sauce and mix it all well.
- Serve and sprinkle the parsley on top.
